1. Preamble & Binding Nature
These Terms of Use (hereinafter referred to as the “Terms”) govern the access, interaction, and continued usage of the digital platform operating under the name “Dhangar Wada”, hereinafter referred to as “the Platform”, accessible via the World Wide Web at the aforementioned domain, and shall constitute a legally binding agreement between the user (hereinafter “User”, “you”, or “visitor”) and the administrators, creators, and moderators of the said Platform.
By voluntarily accessing, browsing, or interacting with the Platform, in part or in whole, the User irrevocably and unconditionally consents to these Terms and affirms that such use is undertaken solely at their own discretion, risk, and volition, without any inducement, coercion, or representation having been made by the Platform or any of its affiliates, agents, or administrators.
2. Nature of the Platform
The Platform is a non-commercial, volunteer-led, community-centered digital initiative, designed primarily with the intention of facilitating access to publicly available information, encouraging civil dialogue, enabling grievance expression, and promoting awareness with regard to governmental welfare schemes and opportunities that may, from time to time, be of interest or relevance to members of the Dhangar community across India and abroad.
The Platform does not purport to offer legal, financial, medical, or political advice and shall under no circumstances be construed as a governmental body, advisory panel, statutory board, or political representative.
3. User Conduct and Restrictions
Without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, the User undertakes and agrees:
- Not to post, transmit, disseminate, upload, or otherwise share any content that may be construed as defamatory, inflammatory, fraudulent, obscene, hateful, communal, invasive of privacy, or otherwise in contravention of any prevailing statute, ordinance, or regulation;
- Not to utilize, repurpose, or reproduce any part of the Platform’s content, in whole or in part, for any personal, political, promotional, or commercial gain;
- Not to impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent any affiliation in a manner likely to mislead or deceive others;
- Not to interfere with or disrupt the security, functionality, or accessibility of the Platform or its connected servers and systems.
Violation of any of the above may result in immediate suspension of access, reporting to concerned authorities, or initiation of civil/criminal proceedings, at the sole discretion of the Platform administrators.
4. Intellectual Property and Licensing
Unless explicitly specified otherwise, all materials appearing on the Platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, images, layout, design elements, visual interface, logos, and associated metadata, shall remain the exclusive intellectual property of Dhangar Wada, protected under the relevant provisions of the Indian Copyright Act, 1957, the Trademarks Act, 1999, and applicable international treaties to which India is a signatory.
Users are granted only a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, limited license to access and view content for personal, non-commercial purposes, and no part of the Platform may be reproduced, distributed, stored, transmitted, or modified without express prior written consent.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
All content, features, tools, and services provided via the Platform are offered on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of accuracy, reliability, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose.
The Platform does not guarantee the timeliness, completeness, correctness, or legal standing of any posted information. Reliance on any information contained herein shall be solely at the risk of the User.
6. Limitation of Liability
Under no circumstances shall the Platform, its contributors, volunteers, administrators, or affiliates be held liable for any direct, indirect, consequential, incidental, special, or punitive damages, losses, or expenses arising out of, or in connection with, the User’s access, use, misuse, or inability to use the Platform or any linked third-party sites or resources.
7. Jurisdiction & Governing Law
These Terms shall be construed and enforced in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India, without reference to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising out of or related to the Platform, these Terms, or the User’s engagement with the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent civil courts at Kolhapur, Maharashtra. to the exclusion of all other forums.
